Directions

Quick safety first: always use a heat-protectant spray, work on fully dry hair, wear the heat glove when recommended, keep the hot barrel off countertops, and unplug when finished.

Prep

Apply a heat protectant and brush through.
Dry hair completely.
Clip hair into manageable sections (top / bottom, then smaller subsections).
Choose the barrel size for the look you want (see below).

Swap & lock a barrel

Press the release button on the handle (or follow the unit’s press-action mechanism).
Remove the current barrel and insert the chosen barrel until it clicks/locks into place.
Plug in and set temperature. Tip: start lower and increase only if needed.

Heat guide (device dependent):

Fine/damaged: ~250–300°F
Medium/normal: ~300–360°F
Thick/coarse: ~360–420°F

Basic curling technique (applies to all barrels)

Work in sections: smaller sections = tighter curls; larger sections = looser waves.
Comb each subsection smooth.
Hold the hair (not the barrel) with your free hand; use the cool tip for extra grip if available.

Wrap hair around the clipless/conical barrel from root → tip (or wrap toward root for more root curl).

Hold for the recommended time (below), then gently unwrap to release the curl.
Let each curl cool in your hand before shaping—this locks the curl

Barrel-by-barrel styling & timing

19 mm (≈ ¾") — Tight ringlets / defined corkscrews

Section width: ~½"–¾".
Wrap from root to tip, hold 8–12 seconds.
Use for tight, long-lasting ringlets or textured fringe.

25 mm (≈ 1") — Classic curls / glam waves

Section width: ~¾"–1".
Wrap full length, hold 8–15 seconds.
Great for bouncy, defined curls—use alternating directions for a natural finish.

32 mm (≈ 1¼") — Loose waves / voluminous curls

Section width: ~1"–1½".
Wrap loosely (or wrap mid-shaft toward ends for beachy waves), hold 10–18 seconds.
Best for soft, runway-style volume and deep, rounded curls

Style variations & tips

Natural look: alternate curl direction every 1–2 sections.
Face-framing: curl away from the face for an open look.
Extra volume at root: lift the section, position barrel under root, hold 10–15s, release.
Long hair / softer waves: clip the ends and wrap only mid-shaft to ends for looser waves.
Stronger hold: use smaller sections or slightly higher heat (test first).
Smoother finish: run a paddle brush gently through cooled curls for softer waves.

Finishing

Allow all curls to cool completely.
Shape with fingers or brush as desired.
Finish with a light hairspray or styling serum for shine and hold.

Cool down & care

Turn off and unplug. Let barrels cool fully before removing.
To detach, press release then remove. Wipe barrels with a soft, dry cloth—never submerge.
Store in a dry place once cooled.
