Directions

Section Hair: Divide your hair into manageable sections, clipping the upper layers out of the way. Start with the lowest layer and separate a 1–2 inch (2.5–5 cm) wide section of hair.
Wrap & Hold: Hold the curling iron with one hand and the strand of hair with the other. Wrap the strand from root to tip with the iron facing downward. Hold it in place for 5 seconds, then gently release the wand from between the curls.
Run Your Fingers Through the Curls: For looser curls, run your fingers from the roots to the tips, spreading your fingers apart as you go. This will loosen the curls for a more relaxed, natural look.
